Pienza needs no introduction to those who know and love the Val d’Orcia, one of the most beautiful medieval cities of Southern Tuscany, rebuilt by Pope Pius II as the ideal Renaissance town and now a World Heritage Site. Siena is less than an hours drive and the A1 autostrada easily accessible leading to Florence (120km) and Rome (170km)
